How can I send course completion records to CECBEMS?

There are three ways you can submit course completion records to CECBEMS:  XML upload, manual entry, and real time reporting via web services.  The first two methods require you to manually log in as a Provider and use the tools found on the PRoviders Only Page of the AMS.  Real Time Reporting is a tool that will automatically send your course completion records to the AMS.

Course completion records can be transferred in real time from your database to the CECBEMS AMS database using web services.  This is the preferred method for submitting data to CECBEMS.  This method removes the requirement to create and submit XML files.  It also provides your course completion records to students and their licensing/certifying agencies in time for them to be used for renewals.

You may choose to create an XML file with your course completion records and then upload it to the system.

If you have only a handful of participant names to report or are not using a database to maintain your in-house course completion data, you may want to use the manual entry tool on the Providers Only page.

Instructions for all of these methods are available in the Providers Edition of the CECBEMS AMS Operations Manual, found on the Providers Only Page when you log in to the AMS.
